What happens if I go over 2 projects?
Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. You can't create a new active project at the cap — Yieldsaw offers you a choice: archive an existing project to free a slot (archiving is free and reversible; archived projects and their plans come back exactly as they were), or upgrade for unlimited active projects.
Can I use it on both the web and the app?
Yes — one account works everywhere. Your projects, plans, stock and cut progress are the same whether you open Yieldsaw in a browser or in the iPhone/iPad app. Plan on the desktop, cut with your phone in the shop.
What happens if I cancel?
Your data is never deleted. Cancelling simply re-applies the free plan's 2-active-project cap going forward — archive what you're not working on and everything stays available. Resubscribe any time and it's all unlocked again.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes — Yieldsaw is a native app for iPhone and iPad, built for the workshop: fast, safe-area aware, and comfortable on the bench. The same account works on the web.
Which devices support camera measurement?
Camera measurement (AR) requires a LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad. Everything else in Yieldsaw works on any device with a browser or the app.
Do I need an account to try it?
Yes, but it's free and takes a minute — every feature is included on the free plan, capped at 2 active projects. A worked example project is waiting for you when you sign up.
What happens to my data if I stop using Yieldsaw?
It stays yours. We never delete projects, plans or stock records because of inactivity or a lapsed subscription — you can come back months later and pick up where you left off.
Does the cutting plan work for both sheet goods and dimensional lumber?
Yes. Yieldsaw optimizes sheet goods (plywood, MDF…) with true guillotine layouts, and dimensional lumber with length-first cutting — including mixed jobs in one plan.
